Web Building Workshop

Basic Web WorkshopLearn how to set up your own web site using free and nearly free web tools. Participants need only basic computer skills to participate. You won't believe how easy this is. Topics will include : Domain registration – buying your web name (for example swissfarmin.com), this usually costs about $10/year Free hosted web site builders Free e mail accounts Free photo sharing and hosting Widgets & Embedding – you can put all kinds of things on your web site once you understand this basic concept, slidehows, videos, maps etc.. Analytics – you can see how many people have been to your site, what they did there and where they came from. Where to find free stock photos and fonts The workshop will be held at the Swiss Farm Inn in Pittsfield February 11th from 7 to 9pm. If you have a laptop with wi-fi please bring it so you can play along. The cost of this workshop is $50 and it is limited to 10 people.
